15th March - Red Carpet / Monochrome

In the quiet period between the Baftas and the resumption of a steady(ish) supply of premieres, I've kept busy, mostly dating crime and fighting supermodels or something. On top of that, I also decided to (self-indulgently) do a re-edit / re-sample and re-mastering of all my BAFTA journals into the "Red Carpet / Monochrome" philosophy. I did that for the first time with the 2016 Baftas (and, quietly, the Avengers Age of Ultron premiere before that)...

No commentary, just photos; no 1.6 : 1 crop but a 'superior' 1.8 : 1 'wide(r) screen' crop; no selecting photos in a rush on Bafta eve while eating leftovers and regaining my body's core temperature... but a calmer and more thoughtful reassessent. You know, the way it was intended to be, but practical and technological limitations of the day prevented:)
